What’s the difference between NOW and COMP?
NOW is for part-time or lower levels of care. COMP covers 24/7 or high-support needs.
Is there a waiting list?
Yes. It’s the largest in Georgia. The sooner you apply, the better.
What services are available?
CLS, community access, employment supports, behavioral health, respite, nursing care, and more.
Who oversees the process?
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD).
Can I apply without all the documents?
Yes, but you’ll need to submit proof of identity and a psychological evaluation at minimum. We can help guide you.
